Jaime Torres serves as Practice Manager for the Sun Health Center for Health & Wellbeing. He has worked in healthcare operations management divisions for more than 20 years. He was in operations at West Coast Eye Care in San Diego, as well as Service Manager at UCSD’s Moore’s Cancer Center in La Jolla, CA. Most recently, has was employed with a national imaging company for 12 years, where he was Operations Manager in the Glendale/Peoria area. He’s passionate about his senior community, and excited to be part of the West Valley community assisting the many programs Sun Health has to offer area residents.
He a native Southern Californian but has been an Arizona resident for over 12 years. He currently resides in Northwest Phoenix. His hobbies include cooking, cruising, travelling and exploring our southwest desert landscapes.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator
Susan is highly skilled at evaluating her clients’ nutrition needs and working with them to create healthier eating plans that are achievable and sustainable. She also teaches a variety of nutrition classes for people at all levels of health, including those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, pre-diabetes and heart disease.
Susan has practiced clinical and community nutrition for more than 15 years in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics and in community health programs, including Sun Health where she served as a community education dietitian from 2002 to 2007. She’s an avid runner who has completed 20 marathons including the Boston Marathon.
Exercise Physiologist and Health Coach
Rhonda develops, implements, and evaluates a wide range of health-promotion activities and educational programs for groups and individuals at the Center.
In her varied career she’s designed and promoted employee wellness programs, done fitness training in a physical therapy clinic and provided education for cardiac rehab patients.
Rhonda earned a bachelor’s in health management from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, with a minor in business administration.
She is a certified exercise physiologist, a certified physical activity in public health specialist, a Matter of Balance master trainer, a Well Coaches certified health & wellness coach, a certified ergonomic assessment specialist II and a tobacco treatment specialist.
Her hobbies include reading, cooking, hiking, and listening to her two sons play guitar.
JoDee Chenaur is a licensed acupuncturist who received her Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She specializes in Acupuncture, Herbs, Tui Na, Qi Gong, Cupping and Tuning Forks.
JoDee lives in Sun City with her husband.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Susan Casaccio is a licensed massage therapist with a passion for helping people feel their best! She moved to Surprise, Arizona from Northern Illinois in August 2016. She attended massage therapy school at Cortiva Institute in Crystal Lake, IL. Susan has 3 children and tries to spend as much of her free time with them as possible. She enjoys time outside, hiking, biking, swimming, and exploring everything Arizona has to offer.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Lynn is a licensed massage therapist and graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. Her client sessions are often customized with aromatherapy and a deluxe “oh so relaxing” hand and foot massage upon request!
Lynn enjoys the best views of the Milky Way, constellations, and meteor showers in the night sky in New River, where she resides with her husband and miniature dachshund Delilah!
Community Outreach Manager
Debbie joined Sun Health in July 2016 as Community Outreach Representative, a position that coordinates and promotes all of the community education classes and health and wellness programs offered through Sun Health Center for Health & Wellbeing. Debbie was promoted to Outreach Program Manager in 2017. She also was nominated for both Sun Health’s Emerging Leader and Innovation Awards that same year.
Born and raised in Reinbeck, Iowa, Debbie received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from University of Northern Iowa. She relocated to Arizona after college and worked in the wireless industry for 10 years.
Debbie currently lives in Phoenix with her husband and has one daughter, three step-daughters and two dogs, one of which is certified for pet therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing, shopping, NASCAR and college football (Iowa Hawkeyes and Notre Dame).
Dr. Arun Lakshmipathy
Dr. Arun Lakshmipathy is the Center for Health & Wellbeing’s medical director. He is a board-certified internal medicine physician whose prior experience includes positions as a hospitalist, medical director and wound care director. He graduated from Kilpauk Medical College, one of the premier government medical institutions in India, in 2001 and completed his residency in internal medicine at Guthrie Clinic in Pennsylvania where he developed a special interest in adult and geriatric medicine. He also serves as program director for Sun Health’s Grandview Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Sun City West and La Loma Health and Rehabilitation in Litchfield Park.
